The Dockyard also has several spin-off capabilities to render technical services to

industries; manufacturing, telecommunications, building, contruction and so on.

NND remains the only all-intergrated dockyard in Africa with facilities for heavy

engineering works. These include Galvanizing, Electroplating, Foundry and Glass Reinfo-

ced Plastics (GRP). It also carries out general engineering works such as Rewinding of

Electrical Motors, Alternators, Transformers and repair of Electronic systems.

It aslo carries out repairs of Communication and Navigation equipments, repair of Diesel

Engines and allied accessories like Governors, Ijectors, Crank Shafts, Propellers,

Refrigerators and Air-Conditioning Systems e.t.c
